160 free apps package | 1.94 GB

This free software pack was gathered in the last 12 years. The majority are updated until march2010 and many of the apps I've tested and are compatible with Win7 (I'm still a XP user, and Linux dual boot).

No RAR ou ZIP files, so you can choose wich apps you want or would like to download. Each folder contains a info.txt file, with basic informations about the apps and a weblink to the owner. These apps will help you to keep your PC away from dangerous patches, cracks and keygens.

All files were scanned with Avira AV and are clean (read Avira PE report log file).

I've been used some of the free apps for many years. Here's my list:

- EAC: the best and reliable audio ripper
- MP3 Gain (great audio dB corrector for MP3 files)
- Ashampoo Studio: it does everything like Nero... freely
- Winamp (an old one but still a great audio player)
- VLC (great movie/video player)
- Fast Stone Image Viewer/Resizer (to manage/resize your photos)
- Paint.NET (it works with layers and needs Net Framework previously installed)
- Abiword (why should we pay for MS Office Word?)
- Avira Personal Edition (actually the most efficient free AV in the market)
- Comodo Firewall (it's very efficient but you must be pacient with it)
- Secunia Personal Software Inspector (everyone should run this program every month)
- XP AntiSpy 3.97.4 (another good tool if you know what you're doing; read the CHM help guide)
- Paragon Backup & Recovery Free Edition (to keep your files safe in any external media)
- qDiskDefrag 1.16 beta build13 (Windows run faster after every week defragmentation)
- CrystalDiskMark (to test your real HD transfer write/read speed)
- CCleaner: a needful apps to clean your PC daily
- Glary Utilities: another great apps to manage your PC and clean your register
- MV RegClean: a brazilian author apps that does a great job in the register clean (run it weekly)
- Autoruns 9.35: a "honorable member" of Sysinternal Suite that shows you any suspect programs (like worms or spywares) that are running in the background
- HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool 2.8.1 rev A: format your pendrives with it
- DVD Decrypter: to copy entire DVDs movies to your harddisk
- AutoGordianKnot: one of the best DVDtoDivX converter (read the manual first)
- VirtualDub: great apps to edit AVI files
- K-Lite Codec Pack (full version): all the codecs you need to play audio/video files
- Subtitle Workshop: the best tool to create, translate and synchronize movies subtitles
- Firefox: the best browser in the market with many addons to increase your web experience (no more IE pachydermic voyages)
- uTorrent: a small apps (312k) that does everything well in the torrent world
- Lingoes: a good free alternative to Babylon dictionary
- Skype: talk with others Skype's users around the world without pay anything
- Thunderbird: excelent alternative to MS Outlook Express with a easy way (MozBackup) to backup and save your messages and configurations
- Foxit Reader: Are you still using Adobe Reader with its 100 MB or more? Argh! Foxit Reader does the same job with 5,6 MB...
- Revo Uninstaller: uninstall your programs with no more trash in the register
- TeraCopy: transfer/copy your files faster
