iPhone Firmware Downgrade (2.0 --> 1.4) - 537MB
I have spent 2 days to find out how to downgrade my iPhone from 2.0 back to 1.4 firmware,
because I press "update button" in iTunes. Now i know what a big mistake it was.
Here is a "manual" for easy downgrading your iPhone.
How to downgrate your iPhone from 2.0 to 1.4 firmware.

You absolutely need iTunes 7.5 to restore your firmware 1.4 . so I just D/L iTunes 7.5. You need uninstall iTunes 7.7 version and
delete file 'iTunes Library.itl' because you will not able to start iTunes 7.5 after deleting 7.7
You have iTunes 7.5, you will still have the DFU driver for 7.7. This is good and will allow the process to work.
Put your phone into DFU mode using the DFU steps.
When you connect your iPhone to iTunes 7.5, it will tell you to restore it.
Press Shift + Restore and select 1.4 firmware.
When finish, you should get 1015 error. Don’t worry about the error. Close your iTunes, the iPhone will stuck in recovery mode.
Use ZiPhone to kick it out of recovery state (put in to normal mode).
This is the most important!!! YOU HAVE TO DOWNGRADE BASE BAND FROM 04.05.04_G to 04.04.05_G
I used ZiPhone ##### newest version to downgrade baseband (I tried many methods on the internet, none of them work for me)
Once you downgrade baseband you should get signal even though you did not do any jailbreak,activate or unlock.
Now you can use any method you want to unlock the phone. I used ZiPhone on to do everything. works 100%
