CD Label Designer is an application that will help you to design and print CD jewel case labels, as well as round disk labels. It supports inserting images, texts and circled texts allowing you to arrange, change size, angle and transparency of objects. You can also read directory and file structure, CDDB audio CD database or define own lists to include them on labels. With template files you can pre-define number of templates for different kind of designs. Also, you can make different print layouts and exchange them with others, and you can customize printout positions.

Tạo nhãn CD-ROM với CD Label Designer
Để tạo nhãn đĩa CD, bạn có rất nhiều cách: Dùng tiện ích đi kèm trong các chương trình ghi đĩa như Nero Cover Designer của Nero Burn hay Easy Label Creator của Easy CD Creator... Nếu chuyên nghiệp hơn, bạn có thể tự thiết kế bằng Photoshop hay Corel Draw. Trong bài viết này, tôi sẽ giới thiệu với các bạn cách sử dụng phần mềm CD Label Designer và một số tiện ích nhỏ chuyên dùng để tạo nhãn đĩa CD.
Để bắt đầu, bạn hãy vào menu File, chọn New, hoặc nhấn tổ hợp phím Ctr+N.

Tiếp theo, bạn có thể chọn loại nhãn (phía trước, bên trong, phía sau hộp đựng đĩa và nhãn tròn để dán lên mặt đĩa) bằng cách bấm chuột vào biểu tượng ở bên trái cửa sổ làm việc.
Các thao tác đối với mỗi loại nhãn tương tự nhau, bao gồm: chèn, xóa ảnh, soạn thảo và định dạng các đoạn văn bản...
Để chèn hình, bạn vào menu Object/Insert/ Picture. Hộp thoại Open sẽ mở ra cho bạn tìm hình ảnh cần chèn vào. Khi đã chọn xong, nhấn Open.
Khi nhấn Open, nếu hình bạn muốn chèn vào có kích thước lớn hơn kích thước của nhãn, hộp thoại Large Picture sẽ xuất hiện để bạn chọn lựa:
Resize: Nếu chọn mục này, chương trình sẽ tự động thu nhỏ hình cho vừa với kích thước của nhãn.
Resize (keep aspect ratio): Tương tự như trên, nhưng giữ nguyên tỷ lệ giữa chiều dài và chiều rộng.
Crop: Chương trình sẽ cắt một phần của hình và “nhét” vào cho vừa với nhãn.
Sau khi đã chèn xong hình, bạn tiếp tục chèn chữ bằng cách vào menu Object/Insert và chọn Text.
Bạn soạn thảo, định dạng các đoạn văn bản cần thiết trong cửa sổ Edit Text rồi nhấn OK.

Để hiệu chỉnh đoạn văn bản nào đó, bạn bấm kép vào nó hoặc bấm phím phải chuột vào đoạn văn bản và chọn Properties.
Đối với loại nhãn đĩa tròn, bạn sẽ có thêm một mục là Circled Text để tạo các đoạn văn bản theo hình vòng cung.
Sau khi thiết kế nhãn đĩa xong, bạn vào menu File, chọn Print.
Cửa sổ Print sẽ xuất hiện để bạn xem và điều chỉnh trước khi in.
Cuối cùng, nhấn nút Print để in.
